Architecture that belongs to its landscape.
The upper floor cantilevers 4.2 metres over the plinth, shading the living level through the afternoon. Load is carried on four board-formed concrete piers, so the west elevation holds no structure at all — only glass.
Materials are local and few: Kota stone floors, unfinished teak joinery, lime plaster, and travertine quarried in Rajasthan. Nothing is painted.
