Aurora Estates is an architecture practice that develops what it designs. Twenty-eight years, four cities, one drawing office.
01 · Provenance
Every residence is drawn in one room.
The studio has never outsourced a design. Forty-one architects work from a single floor in Koregaon Park, Pune — the same room where the first villa was drawn in 1998.
The house builds slowly and in small numbers: never more than nine residences released in a quarter, so each one is detailed rather than repeated. Material is specified before a plot is bought.
